I understand the level of overwhelm and pressure women and men feel keeping the many plates of their life spinning - at work, health, wealth, relationships, and life. I get that too. Feeling overwhelm is unfortunately a byproduct of our fast paced modern world, but there are solutions and tools to feeling more grounded, centered, and balanced.

I also know the uncertainty that many women feel during midlife, when they experience change in sleep and exhaustion, weight and brain fog, anxious and just don’t feel quite like themselves, and when the exercise or tools that used to help them feel better working anymore. Women in this phase of life are questioning their life unsure of what to do about it.

I know the current state of politics, finances, environment, global events have left so many feeling shocked, outraged, overwhelmed, uncertain, out of control, and at the core in fear. You are unsure of what will happen, what to do, how to prepare, and even numb or frozen. You might feel called to help yourself navigate this rocky terrain but don't know where to start, or feel scared to invest even in self care.

Feeling fear, overwhelm, confused is a normal and natural human experience. What matters is what we do with it, how we support ourselves as we move through the fear, mental spirals, and negative loops, that can unknowingly feed the chronic stress in the brain and nervous system. Before we know it, we've lost our center.

GROUNDED is a 6-week live group

We meet virtually on Zoom to connect, co-regulate, receive, ground, and receive practical and spiritual tools that work in bringing you back to your center. If you cannot come live, that is okay. The classes are recorded. In the group you'll receive:


1. Safe and Sound Protocol by Dr. Steven Porges


Dr. Porges is the founder of The Polyvagal Theory in 1994, a neuroscientist, professor, and psychologist who specializes in the autonomic nervous system (ANS), which influences our behavior, emotions, and physiological state, especially in relation to social interactions and stress responses.

I am so honored and grateful to have studied with Dr. Porges, and continuing my studies with The Polyvagal Institute and Unyte Health team (he is the original source of the nervous system regulation revolution that we see all over social media). 

The Safe and Sound Protocol is a listening protocol for the vagus nerve, nervous system, brain and body, and how we perceive and receive and integrate our world.

In the group you will learn why this protocol is critical to our nervous system, safety, security, connection - and if we are operating at an unconscious and/or conscious level of fear and love. You will receive a personalized listening program and support as you listen.



SSP has been used to support individuals dealing with

    2. Limbic Retraining


This simple process helps rewire the brain’s limbic system, which is responsible for emotion regulation, memory, and survival responses. It is commonly used for people experiencing chronic stress, trauma, and hypersensitivity conditions caused by a dysregulated nervous system.


I have found this also helps with overwhelmingly stimulating or triggering information and excessive amounts of information, excess thinking, spiral thinking, anxiety, depression (or low grade blues or inability to connect to consistent states of joy and aliveness), overall feeling of being irritable, impatient, numb, or stuck, and a myriad of health issues including but not limited to:

2. Somatic Medicine 

This a process I created in 20 years of studying and serving clients. Somatic Medicine is based on the concepts of somatic healing and combines inner child, reparenting, shadow work, parts work, breathwork, and energy medicine work. The method you will learn emphasizes awareness of bodily sensations, feelings, and experiences as a way to address psychological and emotional issues for clarity and empowerment. It brings:

  • Body Awareness so we are connected to how we feel, versus numb, dissociated, or living disembodied from our head up.

  • Mind-Body Connection so we can see how interconnected our body and mind and emotions and physiology are, and bring ownership and empowerment of our emotional states.

  • Releases Trauma in a safe and sustainable way so you can release chronic pain, stress, tension, illness, emotional, mental or behavioral patterns that no longer serve you.

  • Self-Regulation, so that when you are grounded, and can resiliently move between fight and flight to rest and digest as life requires, you will be calmer, more balanced, connected to yourself and others overall. 


    3. BREATHWORK + NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

    Learn the science of breathing tools, basic nervous system regulation, and breathwork healing, and how to integrate these tools into your daily life. Breathing tools have been proven to:

  • Reduce stress

  • Reduce anxiety

  • Reduce depression

  • Reduce cortisol, adrenal fatigue

  • Enhance parasympathetic relaxation, calm

  • Enhance mental focus and space between thoughts

  • Enhance CO2 tolerance and ability to be resilient in stressful times

    4. HUMAN DESIGN

    Learn about the basic energetic overview of your human design type, profile, authority, and energy centers. This will support you with:

  • Better boundaries around mental pressure and thinking you need to know all the answers

  • Clarity around your energy when it comes to your communication and speaking

  • Pressure you may feel to get things done before you can rest, and permission to rest

  • What is innate for you when it comes to discipline with routines, action, accountability and your goals

  • How to protect yourself if you are empathic or highly sensitive to other people’s emotions

  • you can better support your nervous system, work, rest, mental pressure, and energy.

    5. Practical Spiritual Tools

    There is a lot of conflicting information about religion, spirituality, energy work, shamanism, and so on. Learn how to tap into a Higher Power, something that you believe in, that can be a practical resource for to:

  • Learn the science behind quantum physic and bio fields and how to protect yourself

  • Practical tools to experiment with that shift your energy and reconnect you to a Higher Power

  • Learn daily, weekly, monthly rituals for the version of your Highest Self

  • Practice these with a group. Share what you find.

    The minimum payment is $350

    The ideal payment is $500-$750 (which is $83-$125/week which is less than a typical therapy session)

    If you have the ability to invest more, this program is normally $1500 (which is $250/week and the cost of a typical therapy session)

    To give you an idea, most Safe and Sound practitioners charge $500/session while listening, which would total $2500

    The minimum investment is $350 to cover my facilitation, time, and SSP license that I invest in for you.
