SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ASSISTANT

ABOUT US:
Gwen Dittmar is an in-demand executive coach, breathwork instructor, and transformational guide. Her work takes many forms from 1:1 and group sessions to virtual classes and stages at Fortune 500 companies. The work Gwen does is deep yet fun, expansive yet grounded, leading her clients to find a more soulful way of living. 

  • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position

  • LOCATION: Remote Work from U.S. or Canada

  • HOURLY RANGE: $15/hr 

  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 10 hr/week - Flexible Schedule - Minimum 6-month commitment

THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements
We are seeking a self-motivated (read: works well independently) wellness enthusiast who excels in social media communications and the written word to join our team as a virtual assistant. Create, edit and post content on official Instagram and LinkedIn channels. Currently all socials are being managed by the founder so this will be a newly created position where you’ll work closely with Gwen to learn her brand voice. This is a great opportunity to develop your portfolio and work experience while working alongside a veteran wellness educator. 1-month trial, 6-month minimum commitment, previous social media experience, and access to email and Google Meet is required.

Responsibilities
We’ll work to co-create goals for the social media accounts so creativity and confidence is highly valued. You’ll need to be able to receive feedback from the team about your content and continue to develop it over time. Some practical day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and oversee social media content daily

  • Engage with clients and followers

  • Crafting compelling content 

  • Analyzing running campaigns

  • Being on top of the latest social media trends

  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Follow brand guidelines and up-level branding

  • Experience in social media (be specific, and include the number of years of experience)

  • Experience in creating social media strategies

  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Craft engaging content

  • Organized and able to multitask

ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS:

Sept 2: Qualified candidates will be contacted and invited to do a small (30-minute) project to showcase your skills and brand awareness. Once the project is completed, we will schedule an interview with founder Gwen Dittmar to determine it is the right fit for both parties.
